Pasadena, CA — EmploymentCrossing’s latest undertaking for environmental professionals, EnvironmentalCrossing (www.environmentalcrossing.com), will list all kinds of environmental jobs as well as provide details on career advancement opportunities and employment information related to the industry. EnvironmentalCrossing will list job openings for scientists, hydrologists, environmental engineers, environmental science and protection technicians, forest and conservation technicians, and sociologists, among others in the environmental field.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, jobs for environmental scientists and environmental engineers will witness a 25% increase over the 2006-2016 decade. Employment for environmental science and protection technicians is expected to grow much faster than average, while social scientists can expect average employment growth over the same decade. However, it will be difficult for many to find jobs that fit their specific areas of expertise.
