Environmental Analyst Jobs
The environmental analyst conducts research studies to develop theories or methods of abating or controlling sources of environmental pollutants, utilizing nature’s knowledge of principles and concepts of various scientific and engineering disciplines. The environmental analyst also determines data collection methods to be employed in research projects and surveys. He plans and develops research models, using knowledge of mathematical, statistical, and physical science concepts and approaches. The environmental analyst mostly identifies and analyzes sources of pollution to determine their effects and collects and synthesizes data derived from pollution emission measurements and atmospheric monitoring. The environmental analyst also analyses meteorological and mineralogical information, and soil or water samples.
The environmental analyst should at least be a post graduate in environmental science; a Ph. D is more preferable. Hands-on experience is required too.
