The environmental professional is also responsible for promoting sustainability and \'green business\' schemes to local businesses. He is also responsible for recruiting, training, supervising and supporting volunteer groups. The environmental professional generates income through fundraising activities; submitting funding bids etc.
Applicants with a degree or HND are preferred and candidates without either would require substantial experience to gain entry. Relevant subjects include environmental science (physical), environmental science (biological), and geography
