Kleinfelder is seeking a Project Level Water and Environmental Professional Geologist or Engineer to work in one of our Great Valley Region Offices consisting of Fresno, Modesto, Stockton, or Sacramento, CA. Candidates must have 7 to 15 years of experience.
The ideal candidate will participate in and contribute to a diverse range of professional tasks, in the field and office, in our team-oriented environment. The candidate would be able to take a project from the proposal phase through report preparation on the most challenging design and construction projects.
Responsibilities: Review RFPs and RFQs and prepare proposals and cost estimates Design and oversee site investigation and remediation programs that may include engineering design, hydrogeologic assessments, aquifer performance testing, chemical and hydrogeological data evaluation, data visualization, regulatory agency interactions and reporting Performs routine, well-defined field and office tasks and analysis under direct supervision. Conduct a variety field observations to include environmental sampling of soil, soil vapor and groundwater. Able to supervise junior staff on small to medium tasks. Able to communicate effectively with clients and field/construction contractors. Presents technical data to project teams and clients. Writes technical field reports, internal correspondence, and various other reports and letters for both environmental and hydrogeological projects. Manages small to medium sized projects (
