This work will include partnering to develop new features and tools, improve existing services, and ensure sustainability is part of engineering work across the company. This new role will be an integralpart of a new team dedicated to internal and external stakeholder engagements on sustainability.

As part of the Microsoft Sustainability Calculator team, we are at the heart of Microsoft’s cloud strategy. This new team is eager to provide an insightful and delightful sustainability experience. Our vision is to provide solutions that empower organizations to make sustainable decisions through visibility into carbon emissions, circularity, water and waste that facilitates the reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

The team consists of highly motivated, innovative, customer-focused program managers and engineers. We’re optimizing our engineering for the cloud-first with a faster cadence of releases to deliver innovation at an exciting pace. Our team works in an agile start-up like environment where we expect each team member to think out of the box to contribute and collaborate towards the mission of the team in a feature-crew setting. As part of this team, you will get exciting opportunities to work on cutting edge technologies across a variety of platforms to build the next generation application experiences for Microsoft Sustainability Calculator and revolutionize the way businesses operate.

Responsibilities

As a senior product manager,youwillprovideproduct leadership and strategy while deliveringthe next horizonof Dynamics 365 Sustainability solution to our global, and rapidly growingcustomer base.

You will provide thought leadership, set a clear product strategy, and develop a product roadmap aligned with market trends and customer needs in collaboration with partner teams in engineering, user experience, marketing, and sales. You will work across organizations, collaborating with UX, marketing, fields sales and with product teams across Microsoft and with external partners to deliver products that are better-together.

You will evangelize our products and drive customer adoptionand go tomarketwhile maintaining high customer satisfaction through delightful user experiences. You will contribute a data driven team culture of customer obsession, collaboration, results, transparency, inclusiveness, and trust.

What you'll do to help us achieve our mission:


You will own and drive end-to-end experiences and solutions as a Subject Matter Expert in Sustainability.
You will understand the competitive landscape, gaps and differentiators for your ownership areas.
Help drive a strategic plan for owned area as well as for the product.
You will understand and connect with our customers, knowing their businesses and scenarios to drive improvements and functionality into the product.
You will know the service health of your area, work closely with engineering and communicate and drive change needed to have a healthy and scalable service.
You will support our customers and help the community with readiness, through documentation, blogs, presentations, and collaboration.
You will work closely with customer support and our engineering teams and share customer needs and prioritize work.
You will be innovative in processes and design, think strategically and be thought leaders daily.
You should have a passion to learn and grow and fail fast.
You will understand our customers top requests and what our competition is doing both in their strengths and weaknesses.
You will work in a diverse and inclusive environment where feedback is desired to constantly learn and improve.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree, or certifications, or 8 years of Field Experience in Environmental Science, Corporate Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.
8 years of demonstrated experience with customers and/or executive facing presentation and communication skills.
5 years working with sustainability programs tools, architectures, and capabilitiescoupled with defining strategies that solve key sustainability challenges.


Preferred Qualifications:


8 years of product/program managementexperience.
8 years working with cross functional teams that include engineering teams, UXresearch,design,and marketing.
8 years of developing product/market fit, customer & competitive research, roadmap definition, backlog prioritization, and/or experience definition for user-facing applicationexperiences.
Experience in SaaS based products,business applications, sustainability, and AI.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.
Previous experience of working closely with designers to build great user experiences.
Demonstrated ability tothink creativelyand criticallyabout product features, architectures, and capabilitiescoupled with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills through all levels of the organization, technical and nontechnical.


Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:


Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
