Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Planner, we'll count on you to:
•Plan and direct medium- to large-size CEQA, NEPA, and other state planning, regulatory, and environmental compliance projects
•Prepare, plan and analyze compliance documents
•Direct work of others in completion of required studies, documents and reports
•Demonstrate extensive public participation, agency coordination, planning and programming experience
•Perform other duties as needed','!*!Required Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Policy, or closely related field
•10 years experience in environmental consulting with a successful track record of marketing, project management, staff management and client satisfaction, business development skills and familiarity of local clients and markets
•AICP, CEP, and/or PMP certification desired, but not required
•Self-sufficient and even innovative in document development programs, graphics applicability, and readability techniques
•Highly motivated self-starter with a willingness to lead, manage, support, and play any role needed to get a project delivered at the highest quality
•Leadership skills and ability to manage in a team environment
•Diligence in collaboration and an effectiveness in communication
•Public speaking and strong verbal and written communication skills
•May require the ability to travel
•An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
•Master's degree in Environmental Planning or related field
