Stericcyle is looking for a top notch driver (CDL B with Haz) who has experience with high volume stops and hazardous material management.
The HazMat Driver/Environmental Specialist travels to various retail stores and perform two functions, applying all applicable federal and state laws and DOT, EPA and DEA regulations:
1) Characterize segregate, package, document and transport various types of retail hazardous waste and
2) Characterize, segregate, package, document and transport various types of pharmaceutical waste.
*Travels between customer retail facilities, through assigned territory, to pick up hazardous and pharmaceutical waste from customers
*Provides services related to managing retail hazardous waste and pharmaceutical waste.
*Provide training and support for customers on processes, findings and regulatory compliance.
*Provides written and verbal reports to customer and supervisor.
*Performs other related duties as required or requested.
*Two or more years of industry related experience as a lab pack technician, service specialist or driver, or the equivalent in related work experience.
*Must be qualified to operate a commercial motor vehicle rated at 26,001 pounds or greater (CDL B) with HazMat endorsement or willingness to attain HazMat Endorsement.
*Master the English language both verbal and written.
