The Sustainability Data Manager, Sustainability Reporting will be responsible for understanding the global ESG data requirements and control standards for Manufacturing and ensuring these are effectively activated and observed at site-level. Working with the Global Lead Supply Chain Reporting and Disclosures and Head of MSC Sustainability, this person will ensure the on-time and in-full delivery of all manufacturing data and information required to populate Mondelēz ’s mandatory and strategic ESG disclosures and reports submissions.

Main Responsibilities

This role is responsible for managing internal reporting systems and maintaining the highest level of data competency, accuracy standards and reporting capacity for all HSE Sustainability.

You will

Support the annual GHG inventory process and data reporting ensuring sites submitted questionnaires and invoices as documentation support.

Manage leading metrics program, ensuring all sites are accurately reporting required data.

Organize the reporting of energy, waste and water data for all manufacturing locations, in collaboration with colleagues in each site to obtain utility data, water bills, and waste invoices for documentation.

Ensure data is accurately reported and run reports to check for variances.

Ensures that HSE metrics are externally verified by independent auditors for the entire enterprise as well as by the internal audit team.

Partner with external consultants (SGS, PWC, internal audit, etc.) relationship to review and ensure data accuracy across all Value Chain campuses globally prior to the publication of the MSR and CDP report.

Standardize the reporting process while working to improve it.

Manage environmental metrics data collection and reporting and views and dashboards for environmental metrics KPIs. Run reports, analytics, data reporting and provide consolidated data for visualization (Tableau, PBI, etc.).

Lead, manage and train users on software and the new reporting systems, working with data submitters and approvers for ensuring accurate reporting.

Manage the execution of new tools/software/programs and enhancements to existing data for EHS Data Collection as it relates to the mfg.

Support the ESG data collection for the Social Impact and Sustainability Report.

What you will bring

Corporate sustainability, either through work experience in a company or through consultancy experience with companies on sustainable sourcing

Building, maintaining and influencing stakeholders

Comfortably networking and influencing others who are at least two levels up in the organization

Educational achievements and business experience that demonstrate the intellectual capability needed to have credibility in the business

A self-starter who loves defining and delivering ambitious goals

Modelling trust, integrity and perseverance

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required in Engineering, Environmental Science or equivalent

6 or more years of solid HSE or Environmental management experience

Experience in developing corporate environmental standards and environmental reporting

Demonstrated knowledge of key current external reporting systems/standards

Data Analytics and visual dashboard deployment (PBI, Tableau, Dynamic tables, etc)

Previous work with leading sustainability organizations within Supply Chain

Demonstrated knowledge of Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain and Engineering systems & standards

Experience with implementing a sustainability strategy and program that encompasses agriculture, end-to-end science-based environment, and social/ human rights

Experience partnering with brands and business units to drive business growth through sustainability programs

Experience in Sustainability approaches and related cutting-edge innovation and technology

Experience leading global virtual team(s) of peers from different Regions/functions

Strong stakeholder management

Strong influencing skills

Excellent communication skills (written & oral)

Ability to travel up to 25%
