\u003cp\u003eThe ideal candidate will have strong technical, written, and verbal skills.\u0026nbsp; We are looking for someone that is highly organized and capable of working with a diverse team of scientists and engineers on multiple tasks with competing priorities. The successful candidate will have a positive, can-do attitude; will be flexible and self-motivated, creative and well-organized, and quality-oriented with attention to detail. Projects needing support include environmental compliance and permitting for private sector clients. Specific duties may include, but are not limited to the following:\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cli\u003eTechnical writing of permit applications and compliance related documents.\u0026nbsp;\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eConducting Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure assessments\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eDeveloping stormwater management documents, inspections and training materials\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eDevelop permitting documents related to CAA,CWA, Water Reuse, Stormwater, Waste \u0026nbsp;\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eConducting regulatory research\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAssisting with environmental studies, permitting, and compliance reviews.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eCommunicating environmental requirements directly to the project team and/or client.\u0026nbsp;\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eConducting Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and report writing.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003ePerforming project site visits outside the office, including commercial and industrial facilities.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAssisting with the preparation of technical memoranda and reports related to compliance and permitting.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eWorking independently and with teams to complete assignments with other team members in a virtual platform.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eAbility and willingness to travel to support regional and national client teams.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eInteracting and communicating directly with clients on behalf of Brown and Caldwell.\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDesired Skills and Experience:\u003c/strong\u003e\u003c/p\u003e
\u003cli\u003eBS Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Material Science) or BS Degree in Science (Environmental Science, Geology, Chemistry) or related field (such as Industrial Hygiene) required\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003ePermitting and compliance experience required with knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eMS degree and/or Professional engineering experience a plus\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003e0-5 years of experience; 2-5 years preferred\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eProficiency in Excel, Word and basic computer skills required\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eStrong verbal and written communication skills\u003c/li\u003e
\u003cli\u003eExcellent organization and communication skills with extreme attention to detail\u003c/li\u003e
