Principal Sediment Technologist - any U.S. location
Support sediment management and remediation projects and have a hand in transforming tomorrow.
As a Principal Sediment Technologist, you'll have the chance to lead the development and execution of technical solutions that can be tailored to the unique needs of our clients particularly related to contaminated sediment management and remediation issues. Working with other members of the team, you'll solve some of the most complex and high-profile sediment management projects that clients face. You will be responsible for working with our technology solutions and sales teams to develop winning approaches for sediment opportunities, positioning with clients for future opportunities, augmenting our brand in the market place and packaging solutions to create differentiators with our target clients and increase market share. In addition, you will serve as a client-facing technical leader to help clients solve their sediment management and remediation issues working hand-in-hand with project team members on our most challenging projects to ensure the projects meet the technical quality our customers expect from our firm. You will provide strong technical input into our technology practice and mentor/ train more junior staff for career development. The minimum qualifications for this position are:
BS Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related degree. MS Degree preferred but not required.
At least 20 years environmental-related experience, including a focus on sediment management
Experience providing leadership in solving complex, large-scale sediment projects with particular focus on sustainable and cost-effective remediation approaches
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
License preferred (PE, PG etc.)
Recognized as a subject matter expert in sediment management and remediation who can demonstrate active productive relationships with their current clients
Experience with strategy development and execution for the full life cycle of sediment management projects
Proven track record of positive regulatory relationships
Strong relationships with commercial clients
Able to, and are excited about, travel to our clients, project teams and project sites

Location is flexible for this opportunity. East Coast or West Coast are preferred.
