Provides leadership and support for the day-to-day safety and environmental programs, operations and functions of the Coca-Cola North America Dunedin Facility; may serve as an official representative of the organization for contact officials. Plans and conducts safety and environmental related compliance programs, activities and/or projects for the Dunedin facility in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Willingness to participate in any necessary training to gain additional knowledge where necessary and to keep up-to-date on related industry and regulatory areas
Perform all tasks in a safe manner to ensure achievement of objectives.
Generate and review daily/weekly/monthly safety reports for management with corrective action. Conduct weekly/monthly program specific inspections and develop corrective actions.
Aid in the development, implementation, and/or filing of all safety and environmental related documentation and programs.
Develop and deliver presentations for safety and environmental training.
Assist in documentation for regulatory agencies and the Dunedin Integrated Management System.
Perform safety and environmental related audits and inspections.
Essential Skills and Duties
Ability to fill in for Safety and Environmental Manager, as needed
Have knowledge of and works within corporate requirements, OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory/compliance requirements.
Assist with assessment, strategy, planning of safety and environmental functions and programs.
Able to respond to and provide support during on-site emergencies and safety/environmental incidents.
Accountable to ensure ISO and Corporate audit requirements are current and corrective actions performed.
Assist with workers’ compensation program management, including response to injuries/illnesses, substance abuse results, DART (days away, restricted, transfer of duties), and communication with carrier.
Work with the Environmental and Safety Compliance Calendars on filing regulatory documents and plans of various regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA, EPA).
Manage the development and filing of documentation for the Integrated Management System.
Effectively utilize Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, other PC and management programs.
Effectively utilize basic technical math skills, basic grammar, and technical writing skills.
Oversee and manage safety programs and/or procedures for existing, modified or new equipment/ line installations (i.e. LOTO, Machine Guarding).
Work with and develop relationships with associates at all levels to identify, correct safety/environmental hazards throughout the facility.
Coordinate and maintain safety and environmental system requirements for Integrated Management System.
Verify, validate and enter program related data into designated systems.
Demonstrated daily leadership and associate development responsibilities.
Work is performed in multi-level facility of office, production, and outside areas.
Position requires periodic work in production/operations, laboratory, and/or warehouse environments.
Flexible work hours covering all shifts and extended hours, when necessary.
Work requires exposure to all temperature changes, high noise levels, working around moving equipment, tanks, heights, wet conditions, chemicals, vapors, vibrations, dust, etc.
Personal protective equipment including safety glasses, respirator, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, or other PPE, as needed.
General office equipment such as fax, phone, copier and computer.
Travel to other locations and/or suppliers.
Explain and demonstrate job tasks to visitors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 2 years educational background in safety, environmental or related field required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years in Safety/Environmental or related work experience. Work experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
The EOSH Coordinator will report to the SES Manager at the Dunedin location.
The EOSH Coordinator will fill in for SES Manager at key events and meetings with the leadership team.
