This position is responsible for providing linen delivery and pick up services for the Housekeeping Department while maintaining Omni standards and exceeding our guest expectations.
Pick up dirty linen from the Housekeeping Service Landings and deliver dirty linen to the laundry.
Collect clean linen from the laundry and distribute the linen to service landings.
Assist with stocking of guest supplies and amenities.
Report any maintenance concerns to the Managers and/or Supervisors.
Ensure a clean and tidy linen rooms at all times.
Complete additional duties as assigned by Managers and/or Supervisors.
Environmental services experience preferred, preferably in hotel housekeeping.
Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate with guests, management and co-workers, both in person and by two way radio.
Candidates must be able to multi-task in a busy environment, follow through on guest and manager requests, and work as a team player.
Must be detail oriented, possessing a friendly, approachable demeanor and high standard for cleanliness and organization.
Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
Requires frequent bending, reaching overhead and squatting. Lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 60 lbs without assistance and a minimum 100 lbs with assistance.
Push/pull objects weighing up to 100 lbs without assistance.
Ability to push and pull fully stocked housekeeping supply cart and housekeeping carts full of linens.
Must be able to work around a variety of chemicals and be able to respond to hazardous situations.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, specifically evenings, weekends and holidays.
