Visiting Assistant Professor of Environmental Science - 998234
The Department of Environmental Science and Sustainability at Drake University seeks applicants for a Visiting Assistant Professor position in Environmental Science, a one-year, potentially renewable position. The individual will teach a 4/3 load (where labs count as full courses) including GIS courses. The Department of Environmental Science and Sustainability has two majors, including Environmental Science and Environmental Sustainability and Resilience. The ENS major has two tracks, one in Aquatic and Earth Sciences and the other in Biological Conservation. In addition, the department is host to two interdisciplinary curriculum concentrations, in Comparative Animal Behavior and in Zoo & Conservation Science. There are numerous research opportunities, and some support for professional development is available. Candidates who can contribute field courses to the biological conservation track in the Environmental Science major are encouraged to apply (see www.drake.edu/ensp/majorsminors/ for information on our programs).
