We are seeking individuals at the Senior Consultant level to join our Infrastructure and Capital Projects Environmental Specialist practice. Candidates should have the ability to listen to, understand, and incorporate client needs and objectives into work plans and to execute the work. The candidate should also have the ability to participate in client service teams performing tasks with some oversight and supervision. Our goal is to provide a variety of experiences that will allow you to learn and understand our practice. Consultants will be staffed on engagements where they will have the opportunity to provide an array of technical and accounting assessment services.
Work you ll do
As a Senior Consultant within our practice you will:
Assess EHS risks in support of internal audits and operational risk assessments
Assess the maturity of EHS management systems, identify areas for improvement, and design and implement recommended improvements
Determine compliance of EHS programs with relevant EHS regulations, client policies and procedures, and generally accepted practices
Conduct field assessments, document reviews, and interviews to obtain working knowledge of EHS management system and level of integration with operational activities
Help our clients to increase accountability and transparency throughout the EHS management system framework
Benchmark a company s EHS programs to competitors, leading practices, and international standards
Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues
Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products
Assist in proposal development
Actively expand consulting skills and professional development through training courses, mentoring, and daily interaction with clients

The Infrastructure and Capital Projects Environmental Specialist practice is a market leader in delivering solutions related to transactions and business events across the EHS risk management lifecycle. Our clients are in asset-intensive industries such as oil and gas, power and utilities, telecommunications, consumer and industrial products, and the public sector. Our professionals engineers and scientists with practical industry experience and advanced degrees.
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or similar
Industry or consulting experience conducting audits or investigations of EHS management systems and risks
Experience with the application and review of EHS regulations and experience developing reports or reviewing reports for state or federal environmental regulatory authorities
Experience with the analysis of project cost and schedule data using construction industry techniques and software applications
Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly (both in written and verbal form), succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools
Ability to obtain Federal Security Clearance
Ability to travel 50%
Strong academic track record
Relevant work experience (e.g. industry or technical consulting)
Experience with conducting or overseeing operational field activities
Knowledge of federal EHS regulations
