The position requires a Secret Security Clearance.
The incumbent is subject to the provisions of the Federal Workforce Drug Testing Program(s).
The position requires certification in all categories of Pest Management IAW DoD certification requirements and applicable EPA requirements within one year of employment.
The incumbent must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid State Driver's License.
The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Defensive Driver's Card.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting in the development and implementation of an organization wide environmental program(s) (i.e., pest management, hazardous materials and waste, solid waste, natural resources management) in accordance with applicable environmental rules; evaluating and recommending new and improved environmental protection procedures and programs; evaluating compliance and effectiveness of programs in consonance with governing regulations and goals; and performing administrative functions such as operations, short and long range planning, and resource management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Administrative Law
Compliance Inspection and Program Management
Environmental Assessment and Data Analysis
Environmental Project and Program Management
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
Direct Deposit of Pay is required.
This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
