Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is seeking an Environmental Scientist in the South Florida region to assist in the Environmental Department in our Miami office.
Wood is a multi-disciplined engineering, environmental, and construction services consulting firm comprised of over 55,000 team members located in every corner of the globe. Our South Florida region has nearly 55 employees in offices in Naples, West Palm Beach and Miami.
Wood is routinely awarded contracts on a regional and national level for the government, commercial, industrial, transportation, water, energy and mining sectors.
The responsibilities for this position includes evaluation and testing related to contaminated sites and performing Phase I and Phase II site assessments field activities. The candidate must have a good understanding of monitoring and sampling SOP protocols and be familiar with field related procedures.
Skills / Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are a Bachelors degree in environmental science or equivalent from an accredited university and 1-3 years of relevant environmental experience.
Applicant must have the ability to work in varying environments (office, lab and field settings).
