Adjunct Instructor, Environmental Science - Meteorology - 200030
Drake University’s College of Arts & Sciences invites applicants for an Adjunct Instructor position in Environmental Science & Sustainability for the fall semester of 2018. Essential duties include teaching a lower-division Introduction to Meteorology course . The individual will design and conduct classes, evaluate student performance and assign grades, and periodically interact with students outside of the classroom setting to discuss class. Successful candidates will have completed a graduate degree in meteorology, environmental science, or closely related field, and will have had successful previous teaching experience.
Teaching one section of ENSS 022 Meteorology in the Fall 2018 semester. The individual will design and conduct classes, evaluate student performance and assign grades, and periodically interact with students outside of the classroom setting to discuss class.
Masters degree in meteorology, environmental science or closely related field required, PhD preferred. The successful candidate will be able to document previous successful teaching experience.
